23/02/10 Internet Security Licence Issue
Over the holidays Leeds Learning updated their security
licence on the Leeds Learning Portal which causes users
to receive a message asking them to “continue”
or cancel.
This issue is resolved via an automated update from
Microsoft and will decrease over the coming few days
as your workstations receive the updated files and are
reset.
Whilst this update is being applied across Leeds your
users can still access the LLN portal by pressing “continue”
or “Yes” on the security alert page/window
which appears and then work normally.
Several schools received an email to inform them that
their server was pointing to the backup LLN update server
(which does not have this required update) and we are
addressing these as they arise.
If you would like to download the file directly from
Microsoft please click the link below:

This demonstrates the importance of Microsoft updates
running on your network which we have been installing
over the last 9 months however we do recognise there
are several schools still with issues and we will be
working closely with them to resolve this issue. Darren
